An economical choice!
I was looking for an economical goat feeder and decided to give this a try. Overall, the Goatzy is good. With the video and some common sense, it only took maybe 15 minutes to put together. My goats LOVE the feeder.

Works great, smart design, less waste
The hay feeder does function quite well, allowing our goats the ability to eat at 360 degrees around the feeder, and the bottom trays catch a lot of hay that would otherwise be wasted. Spacing is perfect to allow goats with horns to reach in for hay as well. Loading via the cover makes refilling easy and the cover gives some protection from rain. Overall, this is a good looking, fully functional and good value covered goat feeder.

Love this 2 in 1 feeder
I really like this feeder because it’s definitely made with high quality heavy duty galvanized steel or iron, making it sturdy and resistant to rust and corrosion for long term outdoor use. The 2 in 1 hay rack above a grain trough design is a true highlight. It’s saving space and helping to keep hay and grain separate and off the ground, which significantly reduces feed waste. Capacity is awesome because it means fewer refills while accommodating multiple animals. Assembly is straightforward and quick, with pre drilled holes and necessary hardware included. This is a really great value for the money. I highly recommend.

Very sturdy
This free standing goat feeder is very heavy and durable. It’s extremely steady and holds up to goats being goats.
The size is good and it was easy enough to put together.

Nice and functional
This feeder is pretty easy to put together. It seems of good quality and is lightweight and easy to move around even after it’s full. The goats can easily access their food without actually climbing in and eating it (which they’ve done with slightly different style of feeders). It’s a little small for a large herd so I’d get a couple of them if you have a lot of goats or just add this one to another area to spread things out.

Sturdy Feeder That Handles Daily Use
I have been using this hay feeder for small livestock and it has been steady and simple to manage. The steel frame feels strong and the roof has helped keep the hay dry during different weather. The wheels make it easier to move around the yard without much effort and it has held up well on uneven ground. My animals reach the hay easily and there has been less waste since it keeps everything in place. It has been a practical piece of equipment that fits into my routine without any trouble.

Easy assembly and great feeding access
This livestock feeder is decent for its price point and it took only 30 minutes to assemble. Each side and bar aligned perfectly for me and it held up well. I do like how the top is easy to open and shut and your flakes of hay seem to fit and feed rather well after you toss it in. Overall not a bad feeder and I’ll be keeping this for my sheep.

Holds a lot of hay
This feeder feels sturdy and well-built. The roof helps keep hay dry in light rain. Wheels make repositioning easier than expected. It holds a good amount of hay at once, which is perfect if you have multiple animals and want it to last a bit. . Assembly takes some time and you need a lot of space. Overall, it’s durable and practical for small livestock owners. I like the black colour. Easy to clean as well.

Mostly great
I love the feeder and so do my girls. The grain holding bottom is really handy. Other than that, its the perfect size. For a home stead with 7 girls, it does the job nicely. To assemble, was pretty easy. The wheels make it simple to move around. All in all, for the price, I like it.

Sturdy feeder that helps cut down hay waste
I’ve been using this Goatzy hay feeder for my goats, and it’s been working well so far. The heavy-duty steel construction feels solid, and it is made of high-quality material; the black powder-coated finish seems durable and rust-resistant. It holds a good amount of hay, and the V-shaped design really helps keep hay contained instead of ending up all over the ground.
I like the 2-in-1 design with the built-in grain pan. It makes feeding easier and keeps everything in one place.

Great for feeding the Goats
Goatzy Hay Feeder for Goat with Roof and Wheels,

I was looking for something to feed the goats in that would save on hay getting spread all over. This was perfect.

The instructions were spot on with the assembly and everything fit perfect. It was easy to put together and took less than 30 minutes. The lid lifts right up to throw the head in and then sit right back down. Although I did not use the wheels because it isn’t a stall, it is nice having the option of putting wheels on to move it.

The perfect feeder for goats at this price point.

Best hay feeder
This is a great product compared to many other options I've used before. Rather than spend $600 on two Tartar hay racks for my bucks and does, I purchased 4 of these for less to place inside their stalls and avoid weather/rain. The hay racks fit a lot more compacted hay than I thought at first glance so this pleased me as well. You can press three or four flakes into the feeder, to give you an idea.

Any questions?

Still unsure? Check the FAQs below.

Does the roof really keep the hay dry in rain and snow?

Yes. The hinged metal roof covers the goat hay feeder rack so rain and snow run off instead of soaking the flakes. Hay stays clean and dry for longer which helps reduce mold waste and keeps your herd healthier than with open top feeders.

Does this feeder actually reduce hay waste compared to open racks?

Yes. The hinged metal roof covers the goat hay feeder rack so rain and snow run off instead of soaking the flakes. Hay stays clean and dry for longer which helps reduce mold waste and keeps your herd healthier than with open top

Is it easy to move even when full of hay or grain?

Yes. Two wheels and fold flat side handles let one person tilt and roll the hay feeder between pens or paddocks. Once in place you can lock the wheels so the feeder stays stable while animals eat.

What animals can use it? Nigerian Dwarf? Sheep? Calves?

This hay feeder works for Nigerian Dwarf and pygmy goats, standard dairy goats, sheep, lambs, foals, small calves, alpacas and donkeys. Bar spacing and trough height are designed for small and medium livestock.

Is assembly difficult?

No. Step by step guide with labeled parts. Holes align cleanly and basic tools are enough. Most owners assemble the hay feeder in about 30 to 40 minutes and end up with a sturdy heavy duty feeder ready for outdoor use.
